MY BACKGROUND

For more than 40 years I’ve been employed by and consulted with companies in the Fortune 500 to start-ups, for profit and nonprofit, and it’s always been about moving the people and the company to the next level. 

I am passionate about guiding executives in their journey to be more inspired, courageous, and conscious leaders so they can make a greater difference in their organization and in the world.

For the first 15 years of my career, I was on staff in companies:

  • Marketing and Brand Management positions at:
    The Walt Disney Company, Consumer Products
    The Clorox Company

  • Executive Vice President of Marketing at YES! Entertainment, a start-up children’s toy company

  • CEO of The Flavia Group, a privately held licensing and publishing company

Naish Partners began in 1997. Coaching and consulting clients have included: American Express, Avery Dennison, Charles Schwab, ConocoPhillips, Foundation for Santa Barbara City College, Happy Family Brands, Lovevery, Wall Street Journal Online, as well as many small businesses and nonprofits.

From 2007-2015 I was the Executive Director of Congregation B’nai B’rith, a Reform Jewish Synagogue in Santa Barbara, CA, where I was instrumental in transforming the culture, expanding our community, and tripling the revenue.

While at CBB I continued coaching part-time and in 2015 returned full time.

My formal education includes an MBA from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and a BA from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ.
I am Certified in Conversational Intelligence® & ACE (Accelerating Coach Excellence)completed the Playing Big Facilitators Training with Tara Mohr, and have studied with several others in the domain of leadership.

Over the years I have been an active board member for several nonprofit organizations. I had the honor of being named Business Person of the Year by the Santa Barbara Business Digest and I was a Leadership Foundation Fellow of the International Women’s Forum.

I had the privilege of being an Instructor in both the Masters in Organization Management Program at Fielding Institute and in the Marketing Program at University California Santa Barbara. I am a Mentor in the Technology Management Program, New Venture Competition at UCSB.
